In the neighbourhood
Visitors to the website NLstreets voted Haarlemmerstraat and Haarlemmerdijk the nicest shopping street in the Netherlands back in 2011. This trendy, individual street is perfect for hours of browsing, dining and bar-hopping. With around 235 shops selling fashion, accessories, toys, gifts, jewellery, books, electronics and delicacies, the hardest part is probably deciding where to spend your money. On Wednesdays the choice gets even harder, when the already generous range on Haarlemmerstraat and Haarlemmerdijk is joined by an organic market on Haarlemmerplein.
