The guest experience starts at the barrier
Why a smooth arrival at the parking facility sets the tone for the entire stay, and how My Way arranges everything in advance.

Picture a guest arriving at your hotel after a long journey. Tired, luggage in the trunk, ready to check in and unwind. But before they ever reach your lobby, one final hurdle awaits: the parking facility.
Where do I park? How does the barrier work? Do I need a ticket, a code, a badge? And what if the car park turns out to be full? For many guests, the arrival is the most stressful moment of the entire stay, and it happens before anyone from your team has had the chance to say hello.
That is why we believe the guest experience does not start at reception. It starts at the barrier.
The first impression happens outside
Hotels invest heavily in a warm welcome: trained front desk teams, welcome drinks, thoughtfully designed lobbies. Yet the very first physical touchpoint with the property is usually a parking barrier, and it rarely gets the same attention.
A guest who has spent ten minutes circling for a spot, or standing at an intercom in the rain, walks into the lobby in a very different mood than one who drove straight in. A first impression is hard to undo, no matter how good the welcome drink is.
Everything arranged before arrival
My Way removes the uncertainty by arranging parking before the guest even leaves home. Along with the booking, the guest receives clear information: where the car park is, how access works, and the certainty that a spot is waiting.
On arrival, the barrier recognizes the guest automatically. No tickets, no intercom calls, no searching. The guest drives in, parks, and walks to reception, exactly as it should be.
The hotel sees the guest coming
The same system that guides the guest also informs the hotel. The team knows exactly when a guest is approaching and the moment they enter the car park.
That enables a new level of hospitality. Reception can prepare the check-in before the guest walks through the door, greet them personally, and have luggage assistance ready.
Instead of reacting to guests who appear at the desk, the hotel welcomes guests it knew were coming.
Hospitality starts at the barrier
A seamless arrival sets the tone for the entire stay. When parking is effortless, the guest's first impression of the hotel is one of care and attention to detail.
That is the idea behind My Way: arrange everything in advance, so the guest knows what to expect and the hotel knows who to expect. The result is a warmer welcome, a calmer front desk, and a guest experience that begins the moment the barrier opens.
